Dr. Yazmine Marimon

Dr. Yazmine Marimón de Prada, known as Dr. Yaz, is a licensed psychologist in Mental Health, sex therapist, doctor of Clinical Sexology, and certified addiction professional (CAP). Co-founder and Clinical Director of Prada & Ortiz Men’s Sexual Health Center, she has over 10 years of experience in Miami working with men, women, and couples on intimacy issues, sexual dysfunctions, and sexual addiction.
Trained in Cuba and the United States, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, and a Doctorate in Clinical Sexology. Her specialization allows her to address complex cases in which sexual dysfunctions—such as low sexual desire, erectile dysfunction, or delayed ejaculation—coexist with anxiety, trauma, depression, or relationship conflicts.
She has been an international lecturer, a member of professional associations in the US, founder of the International Institute of Sex Therapy and Education (IITES), and a board member of the STTI in Miami. In addition, she has multiple certifications: Sex Therapy, Couples Therapy, EMDR, SAP, CAP, and evaluation for the Department of Transportation (DOT), among others.
Dr. Yaz stands out for her cultural sensitivity, her integrated approach, and her ability to work with emotional and psychological issues as well as sexual and relational ones. Together with Dr. Néstor Ortiz, she offers a unique clinical model that combines sexual medicine and sexology to provide comprehensive and humane care.

Dr. Néstor Ortiz is a urologist-andrologist with over 25 years of clinical and academic experience in men’s sexual health, including Erectile Sexual Dysfunction (ED) and its full range of therapeutic modalities. He has extensive expertise in Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) for men with testosterone deficiency, as well as in penile regenerative medicine, utilizing intracavernosal Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and low-intensity shockwave therapy (LiSWT) to support the restoration of the penile microvascular arterial network.
A specialist in Male Sexual Medicine, Dr. Ortiz was trained as a urologist-andrologist in Cuba and is certified in the United States as an APRN-FNP-BC. He is the Co-Founder and Medical Director of Prada & Ortiz Men’s Sexual Health Center in Miami. He is an active member of leading national and international institutions, including the Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA), where he engages in ongoing professional education, as well as the International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM), among others.
His professional trajectory includes significant roles as a researcher in areas related to sexual function, Professor of Urology in his country of origin, and speaker on men’s sexual health at numerous national and international congresses and professional events. He has also worked in hospitals and clinics in Luanda, Angola, and was a co-founder of the Abu Dhabi Stem Cell Center (ADSCC), where he participated in the development of clinical protocols for the intracavernosal use of stem cells (where permitted by regional regulations) and PRP

- General blood chemistry and hormonal profile, with special emphasis on total and free testosterone (baseline and follow-up).
- Diagnostic functional tests, both oral and with intracavernosal vasoactive agents, to assess erectile response.
- Penile color Doppler ultrasound, to evaluate arterial and venous blood flow. Rigiscan monitoring for objective assessment of nocturnal penile rigidity.
- Penile morphology testing, useful for structural abnormalities and curvature assessment. Evaluation and longitudinal monitoring of Peyronie’s plaque using serial ultrasound measurements.

1. Pharmacological Therapy
Phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE-5) inhibitors: Tadalafil, Sildenafil, Vardenafil, among others

What are the steps if I decide to visit your center?
Call or send an email to schedule an appointment. During your first visit (45-60 minutes), the doctor reviews your medical history, discusses your concerns, and performs a physical exam if necessary. You´ll receive a personalized treatment plan.
Can I have a virtual consultation?
Yes. We offer telemedicine. If your condition requires a physical exam or specific tests, we´ll guide you on the best option.
Is treatment painful?
No. Most of our treatments are painless (shockwave, oral medications). Injections involve a small needle prick, but it´s minimal. Dr. Ortiz will discuss pain management options before any procedure.
What if my first treatment doesn't work?
We adjust your plan. We can increase doses, change medications, combine therapies, or add psychological support. Our 95%+ success rate comes from persistence and personalization.
How quickly will I see results?
Results vary by treatment and condition. Oral medications: 30-60 minutes. Psychological therapy: 4-8 sessions. Regenerative therapies (PRP/shockwave): 6-12 weeks. Dr. Ortiz and Dr. Yaz will set realistic expectations for your condition.
